Winter is such a fun time of year. The snow can be magical. The cold brings a nice flush to your cheeks. The air feels so crisp. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. So why wouldn’t winter photos and weddings be just as wonderful?
Well, they are.
We’ve rounded up a few inspiring images to help you stay warm when it’s cold.
This shot from Ariana B Photography is simply amazing. I love how they used the doors as a backdrop, the snow and the wreaths. Everything works together… and the colors! Beautiful!
Nothing like newlyweds… Using red and plaid in a snow shoot is always going to look good! It brings warmth and pop to the photos!
These next two photos are from Indiana which makes them melt my heart even more. How gorgeous is this first vintage looking bride?! On the campus of IU?! In the Snow?! I swear this looks like it’s straight out of the English Countryside.
And this photo from Apples and Honey Photography is simply perfection. The small berry wreath, the amazing arrangement of twigs, succulents, and berries… The plaid shirt over the dress… The barn… Do I need to keep going?!
I love the simplicity of this shoot. The same neutral colors that almost blend in with the surrounding nature, but it works. I’m am dying over this pinecone bouquet. Yes please!
Also, a Christmas Tree farm is the perfect background for any winter shoot. The greens in the trees are gorgeous and there’s something whimsical about a tree farm… running in and out of the trees, hiding behind them, standing in the freezing cold as markers while your mom picks the one that she wants to take home with her… Oops… I digress. But seriously, they are usually quite beautiful. And again, the use of the doors… just perfect!
And you can’t forget about the details. Offer hot cocoa in a dresser for chilled guests…
I’m loving this white tree on the white snow against the white barn… genius. The neutral palate is just perfect.
And the fur, pinecones, skates, and sleds are just right for this adorable scene. Again with the red… a beautiful emerald green would be just as nice. But the scene is set just right!
So now you hopefully you are inspired to create some beautiful scenes. If you’d like our help just let us know and you can always see our inventory by clicking over there!
